Temperature in the 30's and a light mist didn't stop about 100 people and 25 cars from showing up for the Toys for Tots show today.

39 degrees is roadster weather, right? Decided what the hell and took the touring, I won a ceramic heater as a door prize, go figure lol

Not a lot of HAMB material but I snapped a few pics anyway, the pile of toys grew much bigger than the pic as the day went on.

The good looking gal with Santa is my lovely wife Terry.

The F1 belongs to a good freind of mine. You should see the tall T sedan he is building, early 283, lakes headers etc. It will fit right in here, and like his F1 it is all owner built in his garage.

The 40 belongs to SLIMLEG here on the HAMB.

The sedan delivery is my buddy Terry's, Twisted Okie on the board.

Lots of kiddos will have a much better Christmas because of folks like Steve who opens his shop and puts on this show every year.

He lurks here occasionally so Good job buddy!!

Now if I can just get feeling back in my ears....

You could use the heater you won in your ride if you had a real long extension cord. Jethro from the Beverly Hillbillies did it with a phone. Have a Merry Christmas from my family to yours. Keith

Actually it was a 12V plug in heater, but the gal in the 31 Chevy offered me 10 bucks for it because her windshield was fogging up and she couldn't see! lol

  5. Hmmm, dont see any striping on that thing yet!?

It aint the first time that thing has seen 30 degrees. There is a reason it has antifreeze in it!

  6. That blue tub is a super sweet looking car, would be a ton of fun.

  7. I have been told the guy that built it is an ***hole:D

No stripes yet Trent. Been busy.

You know what they say about the cobblers kids always having holes in thier shoes. Well a stripers car is always the last to get striped I guess.

Car got lots of good comments today.

Well the mist on Saturday was just a prelude to ice and snow Sunday and Monday. Ya'll stay warm, looks like if I drive an old car this week it's be the '63.

Just a final plug for toys for Tots. If you get a chance to participate in the toy collection effort, do so. They make sure kids have a brighter Christmas.
