Projects 39 Ford and a Carson style top

    Well I am thinking of having this skeleton frame that I made a little while back for the 39 just some idea for now. I do actually have the original top for it but it was welded together and I am missing someparts for it. So this would be a quick fix for the moment and another look ...........lol..........

    First, great car . Top looks good so far but seems like a shame to have a non folding top on a real convert like that .Nothing like top down cruising in the sunshine .

    I have been driving it like this for the past few years with just a tonneau cover on the back rain or shine....lol......

    That is one awesome ride . Always loved the '35-'40 four door converts . It looks killer with the tonneau but not so fun when it rains .

    I decided to set the original bows on today so but they were all welded together and actually wrapped with chicken wire and some old type of batting. I will get pics later when I get back home. But you will be able tosee the difference in height.
     
  7. I think it'd look really great with a carson style top, and possibly easily removable as you could rig up a lift so's one guy could do it.
