39 Ford Coupe Exhaust Problems

Anybody got any ideas on what I can use for exhaust on my 39 Ford coupe? Trying to mock everything up before installing the good engine. I don't think I'm going to be able to use the block hugger headers. Driver side block hugger is all over the steering box.

 

Yep, looks like mine. I had to use the 70's truck passenger one on the drivers side.

 

Sanderson makes a header for a SBC in a `35-`40 Ford , the driver's side angles forward a bit so you can snake the headpipe around the steering box

 

When I had a BBC in my 39 I used 64 Chevy II fenderwell headers, they were bad ass....
