I posted on the barn, no luck. I'm missing some of the tack strips for the headliner and wind lace on my 39 ford standard 2 dr sedan. I'm trying to find some replacement material that I can use, and not having any luck. Wondering if anybody is making it, or what you use instead. Thanks Ron
This works, sometimes to have to double it to get the right thickness. TACK STRIP FOR CONVERTIBLE TOPS (threeriverssupply.com) later kb
I got tack strip for my 40 Ford from these folks years ago. Give them a call. Welcome to Restoration Specialties - A first class restoration depends on quality products Look here also: 1939 ford tack strip - Search (bing.com)
^^^^ I too have used Restoration Specialties for this. Dennis Carpenter also has some sizes available.
I have used some of the "door card" cardboard type material. Had to double it up to get the correct width. Getting it perfect, isn't too critical. Here's an example from my old '63 wagon I did. Held it in w/ pop rivets. 63wagon79 by 1pickup posted Mar 18, 2017 at 3:52 PM
