I'm sort of ready to get going under the car and looking into headers for the 59AB in it. All the listings I find say 39 DLX-40 car or 36-38 car. I've peeked in there and not having anything to sort of eyeball for fit I'm simply wondering if the 38 Dlx and 39 Std are simply the same. If there's an issue, what is it? Should I get flanges and make my own? Is there a special pipe to make the connection from header to exhaust? I have no fear of either direction, just curious as to why the fitting charts leave the 39 Std off the list. There has to be something, or they're all****uming we'd know the 38 Dlx/39 Std are the same. I had this in my build thread too but this is something I want to get on top of without wasting time and $$$. Thanks in advance...

The biggest obstacle will be the steering box and the pipe going from the header through the frame and pedals, both on the drivers side.

Fentons - can require some milling and/or grinding to fit. driver side
Reds - are supposed to fit just fine (if they're still making them).
waldronexhaust - has options as well.

    just some reading...
