Need some help guys. As the ***le says I've got an issue with the windshield on my newly acquired 39 Ford fordor. This was an early 00s street rod built that I'm trying to clean up. As much as I'd kill to revert this to an original '39 flip out, time and cash are not on my side at the moment.

The PO installed safety gl*** all around. Unfortunately it's delaminating on many edges. The worst being at the v-****.

Is there any fix to this?
I was going to attempt using crack resin or silicone sealant.
Eventually I'll add a '40 center bar trim to cover the v. Just want to see if I can stop the delam.
    Appreciate the help.

It will only get worse and spread. Sorry.

Nothing you can do short of replacing the gl*** will help. You should be thankful it isn't a hideously expensive curved-gl*** windshield or backgl***.

  4. See the above...

Whoever cut the gl*** got the edges too hot when sanding it.
