I can't find a exterior sun visor for my 39 Olds and didn't know if any of you knew different year vehicles that will fit with minor modification. I have seen some of the fiberglass ones but nothing close to my year car.

  2. If Olds in the U.S. was the same as here in Australia, they would use the same body from the firewall back for all G.M. makes. Search for a visor to fit a 39-40 Chevy, Buick, Pontiac etc. they should all be the same.

Ozzie GM (Holden) bodies are totally different to GM (Fisher) bodies. You need a split visor which is adjustable for width. A Fenton would work, you need the correct model. I just sold an all SS Comet (Dieterich) skyshield, it would have looked nice :)

I buy and sell these old visors a lot, all you need is an adjustable visor for split window cars. Many makers made universal visors back in the day, Fulton, Dieterich, and Peckat were the main ones.
Any would work, the trick isn't finding one that fits, the trick is finding one that won't clean out your wallet.
