39 pedal plans

  1. ok I bolted in my 40 merc spring I got off a hamber named Paul at billetproof and will be bolting in my 40 banjo tomarrow so I can figure out my Z and how much to add for the rearend change I am running a 39 gear box any body got plans for a x-member so I can mount this and my 39 pedals in the A frame

    John I can make you a plate for that to work but only if you run a dual resivor master cylinder....Danny
     
  3. I have two stock masters ?? but I can buy a new one I am building this frame for the c-dan then I am gonna use the c-dan frame for the R/PU I think ??? I am so screwed up !!! I sold the slazzen 36 today kinda bummed about that but I had to many projects now I gotta get on track
     
  4. I have a photo of the home fabbed X member holding the 39 gearbox attached to an A rear between the rails in the 29 tudor I recently purchased. The car also came with a nice set of 39 pedals so I'm sure the X member is built to accomodate them. I will post the photo if I get a chance tommorow.

    Check this out. I bought a rotten '39 chassis for the front and rear end and ended up using the X member. I didn't know what motor I was going to run at the time so my measurements were a bit off, but everything actually ended up working as it should. I had to drill two holes to relocate the trans and will have to weld on two tabs for the pedal****embly - basically everything had to move up and back about three inches.

    But if you have all of your parts and know what you're going to use this is a no brainer - you should be able to avoid the hole drilling and relocating.

  7. Not sure if this will help.

    It's in a 34 three window built circa 1967.

    Don't know what the pedal or M/C is either, but I could find out if necessary.
