What we have here is a very unique 39 Pontiac . Purchased this car 5 years ago and began building it. The run down of the drive train and mechanics are this, 97 Vortec topped with a 3x2 setup and edelbrock performer series intake,700R4 transmission,12 bolt main rear end out of a 70 Chevelle with Moser axles, 69 Camaro front clip with disc brakes, 4 link with adjustable coil overs all around. Power steering, Power brakes. To keep this thing running a 185 degrees year round , I have upgraded the water pump to a aluminum pump, 69 Camaro radiator, 2 electric fans. The steel body is in great shape, had new 16gauge cold rolled running boards fabricated to replace the originals. Paint is approx. 5 years old and is 2016 Mercedes black with 5 layers of clear, when car was painted all surfaces were taken down and skim coated inside and outside of the car. The body is super smooth and straight and the paint is like glass. Most the original chrome or stainless trim or was found and re-chromed or polished. The original waterfall in the front the car is impossible to to find so the hood and nose cone has been filled and shaped. Wheels and tires are approx. 5 years old and purchased from Wheels Vintique , Steelie wheels capped with original 50's Pontiac full wheel caps. Tires are 5 years old and 3 inch W.W tires purchased from Coker tire. Stated to add AC/Heat to the Pontiac but haven't finished, added the condenser with electric fan and built the vent panel for the dash. Interior was completely done approx. 5 years ago, only thing original to the interior available was the back seat, so I purchased low back adjustable seats, and wrapped everything in a premium vinyl with double stitching. I get a ton of complements on how beautiful and simple the interior is. Pontiac has Ididit chrome / tilt steering column with a mahogany banjo steering wheel. Stereo system with Blu tooth, hidden speakers. To wrap everything up this Pontiac is extremely unique, gets lots of attention and is a constant show winner, this Pontiac drives very well and cruises all day long.
