Just completely diassembled my transmission, replaced some gears, bearings, and seals. It had the old style synchro, so I bought a unit online, for that year. (It was being converted from an earlier style) All the gears work fine when shifted, engagement good. But when I move it to neutral, the synchro stays somehow engaged, locks up. Any ideas?

Thrust washers to tight, bad new parts in second - high slider. Try more lube in assembly in synchro area.
