    hi everyone
was wondering if any of you guys could tell me if someone out there produces an alternator bracket for a 1960, 390 caddy motor (no aircon).
previous owner rigged up a crazy alterative but is now starting to fail.
    thanks

  2. Long bolt with a tube added on the bottom, stock bracket and bolt on the top, should work.

I know on the 61-62's you just have to turn the generator lower bracket on the exhaust manifold around 180 degrees. Get a longer bolt to mount the alternator tab and use the upper stock bracket and bolt. I think it should be the same for the 60 but I'm not sure.

    Oh yeah, bad*** looking 60!
