Those who know more than I ('bout all of ya ), I know who *did* make finned perty stuff like rocker covers and valley covers for the 394 Olds engine, but who has them *now*? Someone directed me to a website within the last couple years but promtly misplaced the link, and that was at least two computers ago. I do remember that it was a current catalog (listing) that I was looking at. They had both the rocker and valley covers. I did another search tonight and found "Phethean Racing Products" or OffyParts.com, but it's not the place I was at before. Anyone familiar with them? Thanks, Olson
Dennis O'Brien of O'Brien Truckers makes the finned valley covers. I think he has a website, though you can also get them through some speed shops. One of the guys on the HAMB is undoubtably an O'Brien dealer, and Dennis is a HAMBer.
Do they have a website that I'm just not finding? I can find lots of Offy dealers but not their site. Thanks, Olson
Vaphead works at Vintage Auto Parts in CO. I have bought from him a couple of times. O Brian truckers are another company. They are actually HAMBers also but I can't remember what their name is on here.
Offy looks ok shop around the prices vary quite a bit these were new ebay, cheaper than any regular dealers
O'Brien Truckers website: http://www.obrientruckers.com/ (it's pretty much one page with contact info) Billy Belmont (has an ad in the beginning of the high perf section of Hemmings every month), stocks the Valley Covers and can ship them right away. Tel 781-326-9599 (Belmont's Rod & Custom, Dedham, MA) As far as I know, Offy still does not have a website. As someone else said vaphead can get you their stuff. It does show up new on ebay sometimes, probably from dealers who get it at the dealer rate. Sometimes they start the bid low and it sells for more than you could get if for from an authorized dealer, but sometimes it gets only one bid and you may get a deal (if they charge a reasonable shipping rate). Edelbrock finned Valve covers (no longer in production) show up on ebay from time to time. Moon "no name" finned valve covers show up sometimes too. No sense mentioning Hildebrandt and Horne, etc., as they go for a lot of dough on ebay these days when they infrequently show up.
