    FOR SALE: 1962 G code 394 cid

Oldsmobile. 98% complete this is a fantastic factory hot rod motor. 330 hp 440 ish torque 10.25:1 compression, dual exhaust manifolds, 4 barrel intake, extra capacity oil pan the good 23 heads and best I can tell it is drilled for a manual transmission.

The only factory motor above this one is the "ultra high compression" option that is a little higher compression via steel head gaskets and a bigger cam that result in 30 more pony's and more torque should you want a little more. I've had the valve covers, intake and valley pan off to inspect it recently and I found that while in storage it's stuck three valves closed so three pushrods got bent. I see zero metal dust or damage to make me think it happened while running, free them up three push rods and you should be good.

This is basically a tall deck olds rocket so earlier drag star and log style intakes will fit but full manifolds won't. There are a fair amount of 2x4 and 6x2 intakes around though. I'm asking $700 located in Kansas City I will help load but will not ship. I don't need to sell it but I do need tires on the daily.

it’s telling me my photos are to big to post in the classifieds. Drop me a pm and I’ll send you some ~ got it figured out photos posted below IMG_0366.jpeg

Found a photo of a valve cover off and an old u fab intake on it. Had pulled the covers to put a little fresh oil on everything before I turned it as it had been a while IMG_0371.jpeg
