Her cherry's popped, when you going to start racking up the miles ya old goldchainer, LOL?

Congrats, oh soooo much, congrats. So many of us feel lucky to see this car go from concept to build to reality, to for sale, to not for sale, to better than bad ass, to now fired.

Larry congrats, tip one back and enjoy, you have found the Holy Grail.

I thought the use of jack stands to produce the wheelstand was a nice touch. Very racy! Congratulations!

Many thanks to Bentley (T-Town-Track-T) for comin' out and filmin' the deal and puttin' it up here...nice guy.

Some wanted to know what's in the motor. It's a 1965 327 with camel hump heads. It's been balanced and blueprinted. The one-owner virgin block was bored .020 over and the crank was ground .010. It's got a complete Competition Cams 276* hydraulic roller cam and valvetrain, screw-in studs, guideplates, poly-locs, forged steel crank, forged pistons, stainless steel valves, 3-angle valve job, degreed cam, you name it and Carbone Racing did it to this little chevy.

I told him I wanted an L79 327/350hp clone. We decided not to go with 11:1 pistons, so it could be street driven. It's got 9.5:1's in it, so we only got 315hp on the dyno instead of 350. I ain't complainin'...

Intake is a 1965 Edelbrock C4B with a 650 Holley that comes with dual inlets, dual metering blocks, vaccum secondaries, and an electric choke. That was Carbone's choice of carb, and that was that...

The stock dizzy was rebuilt and blueprinted and fitted with a complete Pertronix ignition system. Vacuum advance was eliminated...Carbone said "You don't need it"...ok

You shoulda seen Carbone's shit-eatin' grin when he winged her up to 6500 on the dyno...we lost him shortly after...rip

Larry I am so excited for you, I know you haver wanting to hear that sucker fire for a long time. Well deserving for you. Cant wait to see you driving it and especially The Rodders Journal with it in it. You done good on the whole car. I dont care what anyone says, Yeah you paid somoene to do it but #1 you took your ideas and made what you wanted. It is your car and your ideas. There is alot of guys out there, even sometimes myself, that try things they should not when it would be cheaper and better contracted out. If you can tell I am excited for you, Now keep the momentum going and drive this baby by Thanksgiving, Your pal

However your flag is hung incorrectly. Stars are always to be in the upper left when viewing.

    Bill[/quote]

You are correct, sir. And if you look closely you'll see it's a 48 star flag. There are a couple of states I prefer not to recognize.

    Hey Larry,

Awsome video, I know it's been a while coming, but the wait will be worth it. However, I'm with Harrison, I'd like to have a ride, but I really want to drive it!

Thanks Mike...we're on the downhill slide now. Chuck thinks we might be totally finished by Jan '07. There really is alot of one-off custom fabricated items left to do(can't tell you here, don't want to give away trade secrets);)
