Event Coverage 3rd Annual Midwest Forty Ford Gathering - 9/17/2022

The only pic I took was while Jonny Zastrow was replacing my windshield during the Gathering.

Jonny is a gl*** man from Northern Minnesota and best bud of @Crocodile. Last year we were talking and I had mentioned that since replacing the windshield with clear gl***, I really missed the old bronze windshield, and besides that, my gl*** guy cut the gl*** too small. Jonny showed up with a new bronze windshield and new Dennis Carpenter rubber, and did the swap in the park!

This year's Midwest Forty Ford Gathering was small because I had to move it forward a week due to a friends wedding that was supposed to be next weekend. This conflicted with the Ol Marais River Run, up in Ottawa, KS, so we lost several of the folks who consider that event a "don't miss" event.

The 4th Annual Midwest Forty Ford Gathering is planned for September 23, 2023.

Jim and Sharon Stainer, from Jonesboro, AR are a hoot to hang out with. Not only that, Jim is a fantastic photographer.

Jim Stainer sent me this link to a video he made. The first draft had some sort of EDM stuff accompanying it, and it required the sound to be turned down. This one is much better. LOL

 

Thanks for all the great pictures and really enjoyed the video Brett, sorry I didn’t make the trip ,poor planing on my part ,yanked the intake and 3 twos a little over a week prior ,Perfect weather and setting again .

 

Totally understood. Sometimes things go how they are supposed to and not according to our plans. Sounds like you had a busy schedule at home, so it probably worked out the best for you. There's always next year!
