A nice little show held at the Wichita Kansas Air Museum. A three day event. I have just been making Sat. as the weekend falls on other shows to go to. Was lazy and tired so the pics are so so. Better than none, as the pro cameras where everywhere so I am certain there will be good coverage. http://www.flickr.com/photos/neals49/sets/72157627517447827/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/neals49/sets/72157627517447827/show/ slideshow version. Travis with ROYBOY productions I am sure will have his full tilt pics to boot.
Watta weekend......... garage crawl friday, cook out at my place friday nite, 150 plus folks, great time, great friends, super show saturday, beautiful weather, damn i'm tired!
Neal: Excellent photos! You found images and details that both my wife and I missed when we viewed the show in person. We just spent 30 minutes doing a review through your eyes. Hard not to find HAMB friendly cars at this event. Best show I have attended all year. Thanks for putting these up. Tom
Thanks Neal for posting the pics, You took some good detail pics that guys can see what they missed out on. Kool to see that you had a good time. I've seen a lot of hot rods, but Tom you have one of the baddest trucks that I've seen in a long time. Very Kool is not Kool enough to describe it.. Keep up the good work can't wait to see it finished. Happy Trails, Mick
I see you got a very rare shot of the Toad's engine. Nice shot. As you know Kustoms should be shown with the hood close. Thanks
Mick: Can't thank you enough for the compliment! This helps motivate me to start the tedious body finish work. That and seeing the color of Hub Harness' Buick Has me feeling inspired! Tom
Picking out a color isn't easy. You have a good eye for kool so I know that you will pick the right one. Hub & Gloria's Buick isn't a bad choice of color. Happy Trails, Mick
Tom, I must say you had the coolest truck there! I LOVE that thing!! I saw it in the rain Friday night when we finally rolled in. I stood out in the rain checking it out admiring the details....and engine!! Good job!
Thanks! Have to admit, that rain had me worried. It was the first wet test of that new bed wood. One small issue that seems to have resolved itself back in dry Colorado. A few coats of auto clear on top should do the trick. My wife liked your wagon a lot. She has a thing for '58 Chevys. Hope to meet you in person. We will be back next year. Tom
