few '32 3-windows look quite this good. proportion and stance are dead-nuts on. Larry's car has always struck me as a kind of a more austere, compe***ion-inspired, closed-car version of the Doane Spencer car. Congrats Larry.
At every event I've been at where Larry's coupe is in atendance, I walk around and look at other cars for awhile, and then come back to the coupe, over and over again. It's got an almost supernatural magnetism that says, "This is how a car should be built."
This is flat out one of the baddest 3w I have ever seen. Congrats Larry! I can't wait to see more of it.
My favorite 32...ever.. Heres a small write up on Steve http://www.wediditforlove.com/diecast/Carbone.shtml
It IS the best looking 32 Ford built in recent memory. It just baffles me why the magazine guys have not featured this car. If they put this car on the cover they would sell out every magazine. My guess is that it all comes down to advertising. There are no 1-800 parts on this car.
I couldn't agree more. 3W, awesome job...you know your ****, brother...been looking at your awesome ride all summer. A+++++
Very nice car Larry, I cant wait to see the feature!! I was lucky enough to meet Steve Carbone a few years ago. I had a 5 window coupe for sale and he drove up to my house to check it out. We spent several hours talking about old fords and the good ol days. He was a great guy!
I hope to see it in person before he sells it. Larry is a cool guy, and obviously loves that car and what it does for him, as well as for the people who come in contact with it. I've only heard some of the TLC that went into that car, and from the looks of it, it is what dreams are made of.
...nope...I didn't build it, Rolling Bones built the ch***is, and Skalnik Hot Rods built the car, and Chuck Walker finished all the detail work. I just told them what, and how, I wanted it done. They're the heros.
Give yourself a pat on the back for planning a car, following a theme and seeing it through. Great to see you give credit where credit is do.
Larry, Im a FNG and probably not worthly to post here, but that is one of the blackest, baddest 32,s I have ever seen, Love the traditional look and all the neat tricks, especially the suicide latches and the splatter painted inner door skins, polished bomber seats, and anything with a louvered decklid makes me drool. Congratulations, and enjoy the ride.
for some reason they refuse to put black cars on the cover it must be marketing because it don't pop out but I'm sorry if i saw it on the cover it would pop out in my eyes
Larry,,i used to give you a lil **** when you started building this for being a gold chainer,,,but brother,,,you can swing your gold chains around me anytime! your 32 is absolutly perfect,,,cant imagine of a BETTER 32! Sam
