I have a Offenhauser 2x2 intake on my 59ab, I recently purchased an Evans 3x2 intake, I noticed the Offenhauser has 10 bolts on each side mounting it to the heads. The Evans intake only has 8 but the 8 line up with 8 in the Offenhauser and the ports seem to line up with the heads. Why 8 vs 10 bolts to the heads? See pictures

The 2 carb manifold looks to be for an earlier engine. The Evans manifold should be fine with the holes it has. It's more like the 8BA pattern. Pretty beefy manifold. You shouldn't have any problems with it. Don't worry about the empty bolt holes. They don't reach into anything.
