Although this isn't what you asked for I have been quite happy with my Vintage speed kit.

“The rest?” Fuel log, lines, linkage, air cleaners, pressure regulator etc.?

What carbs are you using? That makes a huge difference in what's required to run a 3x2. 97's are a way different animal than Rochesters.

You named the top two-better stick with proven suppliers. Some advice-if you have only the cores they won't work as is, even with rebuilds. Vintage sells bases that seal, a must, and even rebuilts that are made for this application. Speedway does also I think. Not a cheap deal by any means.

WHAT????? You obviously haven't been here very long or read up much. Vintage Speed is in no way close to being in the top two suppliers. That ramjack is the absolute bottom. I would give up driving carbureted cars before going to him for parts or advice. And yes, I am speaking from experience.
Speedway also doesn't have the best reputation for carbs either.

    For what it's worth:
I bought a set of Rochester tri power carbs, and an old timer advised me the best source for parts was Daytona Parts co.
Have not yet dealt with them, but will give it a shot.

I've always been very happy with Hot Rod Carbs (Automotion). I have 30,000 trouble free miles on my 350 Chevy
with their Rochester three two set up. They're only part time now, so read the statement on the bottom of their
    web site.

After thinking about my response I remembered that I had an issue with fuel percolation (poor gas).
So I ordered carb spacers which solved the problem. The kit came with everything I needed, spacers, gaskets,
    longer studs, and nuts.
