any one know what they could be off of? My new rod has them on the rear and we need to replace them with lighter springs. These are 214# and I need 150#. Speedway only has 5 and 5 1/2".
I think I answered your thread the other day. Depending on when the car was built, they might be Corvair front coils. That was kind of the "universal"coil spring for that type of setup until 1978 or so, when everyone started running coil overs. Check out Chrysler K car rear springs for possible replacements.
looks like the best thing for me, would be to build 5" perches and go with 5" springs. That way I can get them easy and will know what I have.
