Morning guys , bought a 4 barrel intake and t pot carb carb # ecz 9510l list#1162 2 intake # ecz-9425-a . I am wondering if they will work with my original 55 272 distributor . I think if I have the intake off I'll put in a pcv in the valley pan
Unless the Holley 4000 has had the Ted Eaton revision it will only work with the loadmatic ignition original to your 55 distributor. You can find the revision on his website. Eatonbalencing.com
Yes. They should work just fine. Jimmy brought up a interesting point on the distributor. As long as your running the loadomatic distributor you will have no issues. If you ever decide to upgrade to a '57 or newer or aftermarket dizzy then you will either have to swap carburetors or have the tea pot converted for proper ignition advance.
