Looking killer! Doing the chop (my first as well) on my '50 Chevy next year. Following along on your progress!
Smoooooth... and a 4 door to boot! You boys don't just rope a few, you get the herd. I allow you boys 'ride for the brand'... (good ol' Western Praise)
I just finished watching it. Looking to start my '50 Sedan later this summer. Definitely made a lot of things clearer. I saw that you cut under the drip on the B pillar instead of through it like he did. I was thinking the same. Seems to be a better way.
It worked perfectly for us. We stayed a half inch below the drip and had zero issues. We did not have to stretch the metel or anything like that. Cut it and move it. Thats it
Is the rear window still it's stock size? Also did you get the windshield cut? Great chop The car looks awesome!!!
Yes it is. We are going to fill in around and get rid of the rubber molding. As soon as i het the last window frame done, i will take it in to get cut. Thank you
Looks great. Not over chopped. I can never understand why people leave that extra part of the rear door, where it pokes into the C pillar.
I'm not seeing what your talking about. I keep going back to the original pictures and I'm just not seeing it. Can you point it out for me Thanks
Look at voodoo larrys a couple posts ago. The rear window runs past the door seam and you have to have a wing window or a non functioning window
lfl, I'm sure James D is referring to VooDoo Larry's Merc. Personally, I like them both ways. Stock...
