If it counts. I was quite the fan of the Voodoo Larry, Voodoo Sahara build. It started off as a four door Kaiser. There was also the custom Kaiser that was on Jay Leno's Garage.
It is known you can convert a 62-65 Mopar 4-door into a 2 door post car. https://www.forbbodiesonly.com/mopa...or-conversion-questions.225707/post-911987088
This one by @Squablow is my favorite. Chrysler should have built one. https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/undergoing-body-re***ignment-surgery.608094/
My favorite topic! I've done a bunch. Chrysler got sold and finished by someone else, used some '60 Plymouth Savoy and some '61 Dodge Dart Seneca to work, fit was nice. '60 Fury I still have and I really need to finish it, has been sitting around for years. '33 Ford got sold and replaced with a '34 body which is better but needs to be converted yet. '56 I did for my dad, turned out real nice. '57 is my daily summer driver for the last 5 years. I've watched DD speed shop, I always use donor car B pillars, it's a much cleaner job when done, and you can use the original window regulators and stock gl*** that way. I feel like his way is kind of the butcher/hack way, and he uses way too much filler for my taste. But, he is starting with garbage cars anyway, and he's at least putting out some kind of finished product with them, so I guess I have to give credit where credit is due. This job is maybe not for the total novice, but it's also not nearly as hard as some people make it out to be, and it's not just for beaters, you can turn out a really nice finished product as a conversion. The biggest issue I've found recently is it's hard to find good usable 4 door starting points anymore. They're all gone/used up, or overly expensive now.
Dan @ DD Speed Shop did do the 55 and the last 56 using the 2 door post. It was odd the way he did the 57 Hardtop he made into a convertible using the 4 door hardtop post.
