Well I'm back with more bad news. After the custom IFS issue, now the rear 4 link from TCI does not fit. The links are 2" too long. After 5 days talking to (I should say waiting for) TCI and the dealer, still no reason why it won't fit right. I even sent pictures and measurements. I decided to send it back at my cost ($82) just to be done with TCI. Not really trying to bash TCI because the kit had good craftmanship and I bought the front and rear kit at a great deal, it just did not fit at all like they said it would and had very poor instructions. Now it is over 2 months, $82 and bunch more holes to weld up, I'm further behind than I was when I started. Not such a great deal now!
I have decided to go with No Limit Engineering front IFS and their Fat Bar for the rear all with Shockwaves. Has anyone else had problems with TCI or No Limit Engineering? Thanks for reading and any input.....

Got any pictures? Are they too long, or did TCI just tell you to drill the holes in the wrong place? Could the brackets be moved forward 2", or did the running board mount interfere?

Same happened to me with my 47 Chevy, I just moved the brackets forward.

I used No Limit for my IFS and their fit and quality seem to be vey good. Well gusseted and thick walled construction. I don't have my truck on the road yet but everything is welded in and ready to go. Their customer service was O.K. as well. Some small issues but overall pretty good.

I love my TCI IFS in my 51, but I do think they should make them 2 inches narrower for turning clearance. Rides nice and handles great. No P/S or P/B drive the hell out of mine.

Thanks for the replies. The TCI 4 link front bracket uses the original hole from the rivets from the leaf spring bracket. Any further the running board bracket would be in the way. Nothing was said in the instructions on moving the running board brackets. The whole install should be pretty straight forward. I returned the whole purchase. I was happy with the price but it was like nothing was fitting as they said it should. So I'm going with No Limit for everything and so far so good. I did have picture that I sent TCI but they never got back to me so I deleted them to move on to other things.
