I am going to run a 289 4-spd(t-10) in my 33 pickemup. I like the chevy truck slave cylinder, and master cylinder idea ala b***. Has anyone done any thing different. I have gone thru several ideas for my pick up, but sbf/4spd is my final answer. Need suggestions, i'm starting on it hot, and heavy this weekend. All suggestions appreciated.
I'm running a muncie and decided to go ahead and build mechanical linkage. My frame is essentially a Model A from the seats forward, so the rails are very close to the engine and bellhousing. I am fabbing pedals for an under floor master and clutch linkage now. Instead of the standard Z-bar arrangement with the bell crank mounted on studs from the frame and block, I will build a fulcrum stand off the frame rail and let it pivot on a bearing.
