I don't see what all the fuss is about....it's just another well thought out, perfectly executed 3w build...:)

A beautiful pair of Deuces. Hope you have many carefree and fun filled miles. If you make it to L.A. for Fathers Day we'll look you up. Also enjoyed your buildup pages. The FOGGER

Randy, that is a beautiful 3w ! Buster did great work, as usual. You should be proud of the car. Bringing it to the Round Up by any chance ?

    :D

    Thanks ...

I have to thank Buster ( HAMBER known as 3 Deuces )
for all his help and guidance. He was very instrumental in the build of both the roadster 20 years ago and now the 3W.

I also have to BLAME HIM ... for making me want a 3W ... ;)

... About 10 years ago I was at his place and it got to be lunch time. We headed to the restaurant and he tossed me the keys to HIS 3W and said you drive. It is SO NICE ... and so well built ... I told myself that day that I would own a 3W and hopefully it could be half as good as his. I have driven his 3W a couple times ... it is super.

Without 3 Deuces help ... my coupe would still be a pile of parts ...

No Roundup for me this year ... maybe in 2010.

I rode in his 3w about 12 years ago (it's been that long?), and remember it as if it were yesterday. It rides great, and will haul a** !

That is one beautifull car my freind. After three years my car is still just a pile of parts.

  25. Randy,

Killer post!!! Can't wait to see the 3-window in person.

WHAT I'D REALLY LIKE TO SEE, is to be there when transmission man sees it for the first time.

BTW, I heard he was pretty sick. (hate to ruin your thread talking about it).

AND ............ that wood grained dash is makin' my shorts tight!!!

Randy, Are you going to change your HAMB name from deuce roadster to 3 Window Randy?
Seriously, You have two very fine Hot Rods. Who did your wood graining it is very classy.

    NO other projects currently :)
Still need to finish this coupe up.
I have a photo journal here

    http://www.hotrodders.com/forum/journal.php?action=view&journalid=3880&page=1&reverse=1

It has 2 or 3 pages of non 3W but about 15 pages of it are dedicated to the 3W :)

The woodgraining was done by Bob Kennedy of Whittier California. He is a well known woodgrainer. His phone number is 562-693-8739 :D His sons are the Kennedy Brothers. They build Hot Rods for a living and they do great work also.

Great car! I think we all wish we could build a car in just 4 years.

  30. Congratulations on coming this far. I hope you get to use it as much as the roadster. It sure would be nice to have the legroom from a coupe in a pickup.:)
