It might be old news to some but I found out by accident that a 46 to 48 dash is almost a bolt in, I suppose 41 also. I tried it in a 39 no luck. Kind of cool the vents line up, and the column support needs to move up an inch. Might be a help if someone is missing a dash.
Wanna know something interresting also? 46-48 Plymouth can use the same dash! I did not like the dash in my 48 Plymouth and had a 41 Chevy dash laying around and thought what the hell! gave it a try and it fit perfectly! So now it has a 41 Chevy dash minus the center trim(Making a new one that says PLYMOUTH).
