When I removed the front brake line that runs along the front crossmember on my 40 Ford the line was behind the crossmember, the new replacement is pre bent to run along the front of the crossmember, The one I removed did not look to have been monkeyed with so which is correct? Thanks

Just checked two bone stock 39 frames and the brake line is in front of the crossmember on both of them.

In my 40 the brake line goes in the stock position in front of the front cross member.
