Someone always has to comment with a variation of this idiotic statement and you tried to head off such response with "I know that they are worth what people will pay." in your opening post.
How does whatever someone is willing to pay comments help?
You have low ballers who don't want to pay anything and **** you for it, ****ers who don't know what they are looking at and buyers where money is no object they have to have it.
Yet that comment shows up in all pricing inquiry post. Stupid.

 

People ask me if I want to sell my '39. I say maybe, what is it worth to you? They usually ' him and haw' and can not come up with a number.

 

Same here, couple times a year I get asked to sell my '39.
I used to give my "nfs" answer, or sometimes my "I don't really want to sell price"
But I like your answer best..."What's it worth to you?"

The most aggravating cl***ifieds on the HAMB are : No price in ad, no location in ad, & some ******* says "I don't really want to sell, don't really have to sell it, just putting these pics out there, (in a cl***ified ad) testing the water", wtf?
I really wish ADs in app could not be posted without price or location & it would show up in App, on your phone. Then, if there was a way to enter your ad without a price, moderator would just delete any ad without a price. That alone would be worth paying more for my Alliance Membership. Sorry, just had to ***** about cl***ifieds (again).
