That's the car I was thinking of but couldn't find any pics. One of the coolest '40 Fords ever. That's one hot rod that started lots of trends. That's the clone in that pic, right?

  6. i believe the picture is of the original..Bob McCoy's `40 ford sedan...but maybe i'm wrong

i can't find good pictures either , but the car was featured in MANY magazines over the years , someone should come up with a good picture

The one in the picture belongs to Dave Kinnaman of Moonsville, Indiana. It is a clone.

I'm not even sure if the original is still around, that's why I asked. I remember an article (American Rodder??) a few years ago with it after it was built. The most memorable part of the article was the turbo 350 and dummy clutch pedal in the clone :( lame.

My favorite came with the AMT 40 Ford coupe kit. 49 Chevy tag surround with the classic nerf bar hoops on either side.

    from Owasso, OK

Here's some we made at the shop. Used pipe with Ball bering ball welded on each end. Heated and bent with a pulley from the train yard.

    Seemed to come out alright.
