Technical 40 Ford pickup lower rad pan question

I am building this pickup that came as a shell to me and I need to know if the lower rad pan goes directly against the rad mount plates with the springs & nuts below it or does the pan mount below the springs, thanks for your help.

 

@1947coupe Some years ago I had one of those, but don't recall the exact attachment points of the pan. But I will suggest this........IF the pan attaches to the inner fenders and/or radiator yoke, then it will move around with them and should not be 'tied down' differently than they are by the springs. It would result in bending and fatigue cracking of the pan metal. If it attaches in some other way, just keep the preceding in mind and you can figure it out.
