Does anyone have any information, history or can point me in the right direction about this truck? I got the pictures off a post by CW's40TPU on the 40-41 picture thread. It looks like it has Lincoln zephyr rear fenders and it looks like the cab has been chopped.
A mate of mine reckons he has seen this car in an article. He reckons it has got a leopard skin painted firewall?
I've seen a couple of versions of this truck, it was hoodless sporting the leopard print and also I've seen it with a hood. I have to dig thru the mag stack to see which issue, also have other pics I've collected of the web, I'll have to see if I can find those too.
I had a 41' Ford pickup for years...the Lincoln Zephyr fenders are not something I would have imagined...but, sure makes it 'slick' looking and more 'flowing' in the back & side profiles!
Skot Randle built the truck, he is now a great shop teacher, sowing the ideas of Hot Rods into the new generation of gearheads
I have to disagree with the look, it is only 1/2 done. The front fenders need to be stretched to make the side view unified like the original look was. Picky but true!
