I am about to start welding a replacement section into my cowl vent surround on my '40 Ford and need a quick answer about removing the windshield (disclaimer - not a Ford guy!;)). Which way does the windshield come out - towards the inside of the car or does it push out to the outside? Thanks for your help fellas....

Does that mean it does not come out the same side it went in? Sorry to be a dummy but don't want to break the gl***.

Okay, got it out undamaged from the inside. It seems like it wanted to come out that way naturally. Thanks for the help - now on to welding in the replacement cowl vent surround....
