in the past ive installed them in coupes, the sedan i have needs one and i was looking at the EMS web site and it says that a coupe tool tray needs to be modified to work in a sedan. (only offers the coupe tool tray) from what i can tell is that the sedan quarters roll in more then a coupe and thats the area that needs to be modified anyone one here install a EMS tool tray in a sedan body ? like is said ive used them in coupe bodies , just asking if anyone has any tips on a sedan install. i did manage to get a NOS ford tail pan to go in the car after the tool tray
call use we will help you with your questions on the tool tray. ems customer service tuesday is a good day to call also on the nos tailpan chances are it is a older after market panel prodcued in the 40"s/early 50's but they are pretty good so you wont have any problems
I gotta believe that your NOS part is gonna be way better than the shit from EMS! I've got a tail pan from EMS for my 40 sedan (EMS P/N 30) and it's not even close. It's formed different from one side to the other and it's a good 3/8 inch too wide at the top where the trunk seal goes. What a piece of crap!
if you have a problem with a part or application we are available to speak with you and resolve your issue. our sedan tailpans do fit correctly, it would be nice if you post a photos and we can comment on your fit up issues and see the status of your car ems customer service 216-541-4585
