Another beauty, thanks for sharing Tim. Is there no tire clearance problems in front?

a sweet little 40 thus far---most "bugs" out now-wish I could keep em all but it's my retirement "keep busy" work so got to find another. If I had room I probably would have 5 or 6 40's but room is minimal and I'm too damn old to move and find a bigger place although my wife says go for it--oh well-to get what I would like around here would be in the $700K range so I'll p***.

well-now got to go find another--have leads on three coupes --one dlx and two stds.. Have to take a trip and maybe a plane flight too to ck. This one took way too long-lots of things were competing for the time. Will be 72 in a few weeks so got to get going before I run out of energy.

Tim, I am 74 and wish I had your energy. I still gathering parts for my roadster but a 40 coupe is a far better choice at our age. Keep'm coming.

Will do Lynn-I think I'm good for at least one more but the last one took longer than I anticipated-had other things of higher priority during this build time.

Tim, what is your average build time, from beginning teardown to on the street?

You, Sir, are the King of 40's!
    Yet another perfect one.
Inspiration to get started on mine, for sure!

Can you get your painter guy to share the correct CMG code? If it's a " proprietory trade secret ", I understand.

You sir, are a master of your trade.
I've tried to "just" keep a recently acquired '39 Deluxe Coupe running.
I'm not sure many people from the last few decades can truly appreciate your dedication & skills, but I hope you keep sharing more & have many more decade's to enjoy your own builds/rides.

oscrounger, You must really enjoy the build process...... I just don't think I could part with mine that soon after building it. But is' guys like you that have provided many guys that can't do what you do with great cars to enjoy! I hope you find that new project soon and share the build with us.

I am amazed that there are enough 40 coupes in your area to "go look at a few". They certainly are not plentiful around here.
