Yes Beester has done a fine job on that old beat up car. It had many secrets. Watch what you buy over the web from bad pictures.
Yeah, the car had issues ,but it also had potential. Thanks to the patience , vision, and careful planning of Gassy. He is going to have an awesome piece.Kudos to him....
You must be Jim Sibleys and Kiwi Kev's, missing triplet brother that was separated at birth, Great build.
These are the captured nuts I fabbed to bolt on the rear fenders .The one on top is the original. Also mtrmnt crossmember ,and driveline loop..
Cutout rear fender for tire clearance.Added 1/2" x16ga.tube around perimeter, and along bottom for strength. Also fender brace.Pics are of both sides.
Super nice work Beester!.......Looks like it will be a mover and a shaker with that blown 392 hemi, Gassy!.....Keep up the great metal work!
Were are the picks of the 32 vicky you are working on and the other 41 all steel willys coupe you did ?
Rather than clutter up here with pics. Here is a link to my webpage of the last Willys. All steel ,custom dash ,and running boards.Fabbed firewall all done here except upholstery. http://webpages.charter.net/bscustoms/Willys%20pics/
Beester - awesome work. Can't wait to see the final pics. Where did you find the headers you are using? Will the car be street/strip or strip only?
Great work! Now that is a real hot rod constructed the right way - in your garage, not from an online catalog. thanks for sharing.
I think Gassey got them from Willys Replacement parts. http://www.willysreplacementparts.com/1951_58chryslerhemiparts.html
