I honestly forgot to take my camera, and didn't get any pictures of other cars. But here are a couple of mine.

Thank You, Iam going to try and work some more bugs out of the Hilborn / Magneto setup. Been talking to Hilborn, proly going to switch to E85! I still have to finish some work on the floor pans and the firewall. After that I will see what my painter says, I will tear it back down for body work / paint, or leave it and take it to a couple more shows at the beginning of the year. He has a waiting list of cars to finish first.

Way cool. Curious on the E85 aspect with the injection what all does it take to do?

    Thanks
CGkidd-According to hilborn it is more or less just like running alcohol. A little smaller pill than running gas, but not as small as alcohol, because it uses more fuel than gas to run. But same care and procedures as running alcohol. I told them my setup pump, nozzles, and spring and they gave me a est pill size. Hopefully this weekend I will get a chance to try it out! Iam hoping the engine will run a little cooler and not load up as fast, since for my use I do some idling and part throttle, it is not a race car.

Devoz-Thank you for the pictures, Iam going to save them to my computer.

glrbird-The side window flyer says "WORK IN PROGRESS, wait till you see it next year, steal is real''

Let me know how it works out. I might be interested in doing the same thing. I will let you be the guinea pig then try to steal the info from you.

CGkidd- Sounds good, I finally got a leak down tester yesterday, so Hopefully I can get her fired tonight on the E85, and I will post my results.

glrbird- Thanks for the link, I emailed the guy but haven't got a response.

Sweet car. Nice job on keeping it original the way your dad had it. Remember DON'T ever sell it. My dad and I built this one, all steel as well, and I'll live in it before I ever sell it.

Do you plan on finishing the firewall and maybe fixing some of the rust or painting it back to the way your dad had it? It does look good , the stance and the long ladder bars and headers. Your dad nailed it when he built it.

Sorry guys been doing honey do list stuff lately, hoping to get the firewall built soon, and get some quality working time on it.

TheDragon- I never will sell it!!! Your car is very nice, thanks for the inspiration picture.

abone1930-Yes the firewall is next... lastly a full show quality paint job, CANDY APPLE RED. Because that is what my dad always wanted to paint it. Thanks

there is a car show comming up in March at Joe freeman , a chance to show it off in a closed inviroment. Maybe someone will remember the car from when your Dad raced it.

I didnt like the column drop i was using, and I couldnt find one a like that was long enough. SO i made a spacer for the drop. Going to paint the drop and the spacer to match the dash.

Now iam working on repositioning the steering gear box so the column is centered for the driver. Then onto the firewall.

Cut and Drilled my gauge panel. I was able to fit all the gauges on one panel, so I can install new glove box doors.

Here are a couple pictures of the outer firewall sheet. I still need to weld it in place, i have the inner sheet cut and marked, i need to drill the holes, then weld it into place.

glad you are making some progress :) I know what you mean about Honey Do;s too , they get in the way, but a Happy Wife makes for a happy Life :)

  30. Fire wall is looking good, Nice old gasser! I think the car would look great with or without paint. Its very hard to beat the cool factor of a willys gasser! I like where you are heading with this, nice job.
