This project started as a commission to build an Willys Ute, in rather poor condition, as a nice street rod. This was an Australian built body with a lot of wooden structure. I got most of the body restored, with a steel structure, before the project was upgraded to a money makes no sense project, that required a custom-built bed and cowl. I took the replaced parts and added scratch-built doors, tailgate, track nose and hood, and floor pan to construct a roadster version of the body. Doors, hood, and tailgate have latches and hinges. This project is to the point I normally finish cars for costumers, except for details that are left for personal input. The firewall has holes for right drive, easy to build ether way.
