I found you one new on this site. http://www.show-cars.com/3.htm So they must still make 'em. They are a little pricey but Offy parts always have been. I couldn't find an offenhauser site, so they must have been bought by someone else. You might also try http://www.summitracing.com to compare prices. Just take the part number from the first site and search when you get there.
This guy has lots of 409 parts, including multi-carb intakes (highrise and lowrise dual quads, 4-carb, and 6-carb). Car Products & Specialty Parts PO Box 96 Paragonah, Utah 435-477-8213
[ QUOTE ] I couldn't find an offenhauser site, so they must have been bought by someone else. [/ QUOTE ] Nope, Offy just never bothered getting a web site. They're still there. Most of this old stuff they still have the molds for and they do things in batches when they get enough orders to make it worthwhile. That's why one month you can't find a set of flatty heads and 3 months later everyone has them.
They are all over on Ebay usually, But that place.... Show cars automotive in Minnesota has them too, so does Charlie price at Vintage Speed if you ain't in a hurry..... LUKESTER
the one OFFY has is foe a low horse 409, and 348.(it has small ports), if you need the large port intake you have to get a stock 2-4 intake.
Hey Dave, I'm going to Kissimmee today, if'n that '59 El Camino's still there I'll ask if it's for sale. Say hi to Jay, he's a cool dude. I do know of a pro-streeted drag race El Camino that's definitely for sale, it's 15K firm. It could be returned to normal fairly easily.
not an offy, but this would be the shit- http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=36474&item=2467901716
