Technical 40's Ford Pickup Fuel Tank Replacement

Anyone know where I can get a NEW fuel tank that will fit in the original location under the seat? I have a 42 Ford Truck. From what I understand, the caps are all the same from 40-47. The original tank was only about 6" tall. Everything I have seen listed as fitting, is way too tall, like 10".
