I'm looking to buy and build an unfinished street rod, went to google with a question and found this odd HAMB site, so now i'm in the club : )

I tried posting my question in the tech section, but i'm only allowed to post here for now I guess?

The car is a 41 Chevy coupe with a 78 Monte ch***is under it.....is this marriage kosher or someone's brainfart they are trying to dump?

He does say the front tires rub around corners because the springs are too light. That is the only reason I question it, cuz it looks good to me. But i'm a novice and have only rebuilt one mild custom, not a body swap.

Sorry if I posted in the wrong section...HEY, somebody take off this blindfold it aint funny no more!!

    1) Welcome. this is the introduction page. You can post on the message board too. The Tech Board or Archive is for special post only.

    2) We don't build street rods or rat rods, We build HOT RODS.

    3) car sounds like a "brainfart"

    Have fun here.

Frame swaps aint good in my opinion, lotsa guys like 'em though, quick easy and cheap, it kinda takes a lot of the best parts away from the car. Sounds like you are hitting up front? If it is because it's too low that is one thing, but if it is too wide you better hope you can get wheels with more inward offset

Do what ever ya want, i'd ***** about it either way!!
