I might have a line on a 26-27 T roadster. I have always wanted to do a 28-31 roadster 40's styled. But the T roadster might just scratch my itch... Post up some pics of some lakes/40's styled T roadsters. Thanks gents! Stole this one from google..

I'm working on a 27 T on a 32 frame, just bought a flathead for it. I originally asked for a 28-31 roadster and never thought about the 27 till the trade was offered for my 1960 Bagged Fairlane. I really love my roadster, I can't wait to get it on the road.
a 26-27 roadster is on my bucket list of cars. In fact I would like to get one sooner then later so I can build it now......like now now!!! Great looking roadsters!!!
Here's a couple of shots of the one I've been working on, the "Dust Bowl Spl." . I've always had a thing for pre-war roadsters and the 26-27's are my favorites. It's been one piece at a time but I have have next to no money in it. The banger is getting a split exhaust manifold, high comp head, Holley 94 and a lightened flywheel. I do have a fresh, 21 stud flatty that my get put in next year. Love these things!

I really hate that a thread like this popped. Just when I was feeling comfortable the "itch" sets in once again. There was a front half of a '26 minus quarters on Ebuy last week for a buy it now of $400. I really wanted it but it was too far away and a little too far gone.
I know what you're saying, JJ. I picked up a 26/27 touring that needed a seat pan/riser and toe board parts, which lead me to pick up another touring front half that would be better suited as a builder. Now I'm thinking if I got a pickup bed I could have a RPU, too. Luckilly, I've got all I want, now. That means it's time to get to building these things. When I'm done working 14-16 hrs a day, 7 days a week, and back to 40/wk it'll be like being retired.

Now if we could just convince your friend to donate that other T body in your shop to Sugar City I'd be in business....since you've decided I'm not worthy of that '29. This is how I'd build mine....
Does this fit the 40s? Maybe, barely. But Dave, BigCheese327, showed me this pic and it lit an ABSOLUTE FIRE under me to get a family gow job together. I've got all the parts and pieces, just need the time.
I never said that..... Check out the good pics of the interior of Barney's car, the way its gutted and braced up... there's not much of the original car left... just find a turtle deck and you could make most of the rest pretty simply....

Love early style 26-27 T's, my 26 may have been a 40's T as it has a 1950 Bonneville speed week sticker on the windshield. Not sure its always been a PU. JW
