So I stumbled across this 41 flatty owned by an older gentleman. He was rebuilding this for his 41’ coupe and then he got drafted in the Navy, coated everything in cosmolene and never had the chance to get back to it. He’s got Edmunds heads and a Howard camshaft. The cam lobes appear to have a little flat spot on the tips which might tell a story I don’t know. The pistons are .080 and the crankshaft appears to be sealed in cosmolene. Not sure about the rods and valves. I know orphan flathead blocks aren’t exactly a hot item these days but this one is likely not cracked. He’s ready to let everything go and I’m looking for a ballpark price to suggest to him. I know the heads go for around 500-800 depending on condition. I know the pictures aren’t the greatest but any feedback is greatly appreciated. Located on Long Island, New York. Jimmy V
