More stock than kustom, but still very nice.

Took my 47 out to a local cruise night last night:

 

My old 48, I drive it to work nearly every day. Been driving it since December 2021, and put over 12,000 miles on it so far.

 

Couple pictures of a friends 41 coupe. One of the nicest 41 coupes around.

 

Not a very common kustom color but very nice

 

Except for the darn spotlights, That car is super smooth !!!

 

Super nice proportions on the chop, best one I have ever seen! Too Tall would have liked that one!!

Is rust not allowed in Australia? Those bodies look super.

 

Definitely not in Australia, we didn't get Coupes over here, just Fordor Sedans and Utes.

Christmas Eve in So Cal

 

My brother had this 47, I sent pictures to NZ and it sold fast. Nice clean old Merc, with a Columbia.

 

In the end of 1992 I saw this beauty on a freeway outside L.A……..It was a WOW! It was featured in some Rod magazines back then,I read home in Sweden………only 30 years ago !.

Wow, that’s crazy!!! Thank you for the compliments. Yes, the paint on the car is 30 years old, I finished the car in 1991. Next year I will have owned the car for 40 years.

You and I may have some Swedish friends in common. I worked with several Swedes in the 80’s when I worked in different Hot Rod shops in LA and Orange County.

 

It seems like I should know where those pictures were taken?

I like that silver '41, but you probably ought to remove that purple and gold thing since it's no where near HAMB material.

 

I didnt keep that one long at all. I hated the paint sceme lol
