So original plan was to use the lowered cross member but that didn't work out so I put the original back on and this was already a few years back. Fast forward a few years and everything looks a little off. Kind of hard to see in the pic but the shock rubs against the mount and the axle doesn't quite line up with the bumpers.
    Can someone confirm

You should have spacers on either side of the shock to center it in the bracket and then tighten the bolt.

I get that, but the way the shock sits I had to force it into place so now it sits at an angle

Can you drill new mounting holes in the shock bracket and move it rearward so
the shock is straight and centered in the shock bracket without the side pressure you are now
    encountering?

I could definitely do that. I'm just concerned about it messing up the alignment for anything else.

So you're thinking the entire axle has shifted back? Check the wishbone ball and socket and the rubber cushion.

Did you split the wishbone? If not then there not much of a way the axle could move back without bending the split bones or breaking it’s mount.
