Can any one explain the fuel filler door spring arrangement on the 41-48 fords ? It should be so simple, mine was missing when I got the car I bought a nos spring eventually worked out how it fits but it does not provide enough tension to keep the flap shut at any sort of speed (there is no box behind mine to stop air coming from the back) Many thanks
