Color is very dependent on personal tastes , as well as the shape, style, and lines of the car. What are your thoughts on the interior colors ? This is a major component of the color package and hasnt been mentioned . I'm a firm believer of having swatches of the interior fabric, carpets and sprayout panels before the color combo is chosen. But like others in the previous posts stated most customs of the era used dark colors. I vote for a dark green that will look black in some lighting situations. Saw this color on a early 40's Caddy.

Great car . Keep up the good work.

The dark cherry looks good and a really dark green sounds interesting. And, of couse black is always a good color to paint a car- right, Jim ?? lm

really liking the green too,,,,,even a lighter green may look good,,,i think my next step is to look at some factory color charts from 50-52 and see what colors were around back then,,,i have an idea of what i want, but it does need to be period correct,,,,,YES,,,,,,,,,,,,,black is always a good choice,,lm
