Hi , I'm new to this so i guess i'm intro'ing right? any how just picked up a 41 coupe with a title that has a id number on it but cannot find any id on the car exept the tag above the battery battery that gives the body# style # trim # and paint # there is supposed to be a plate with a serial # on the hinge post but it is gone ,,,, the car was restored a bunch of yrs ago, prob missing since then, i heard engin # were used sometime but the eng # is not there either the stated # on title is 1AGO _ _ _ _ _ _ it seems that it is an engine # but again other than the body tag I can find nothing else on car. car was registered tagged and insurred with this # but as far as the car goes how do i attatch it ?
Tag is on passenger side floor almost under seat ,push seat back pull up rug and it should be screwed down. A coupe I think should start with a number then AH
