Ok, I can't be the only one who has wanted to do this-making the original 41 ford car front parking lights accept a 1157 or similar dual filament bulb to incorporate turn signals......I have been looking online and I don't see a single thing! I'm certainly not drilling holes in the fenders to add turn signal lights. And I ABSOLUTELY refuse to use those ****y VW style lights in place of the originals. There's gotta be a way to change the sockets??
    Any pointers? Thanks.

Oh that's a good idea. I'm just wondering how to mount the sockets in the housings. Admittedly I haven't really looked to close at them to try and figure it out on my own.

I took that reply down because I did not pay attention that you were asking about a car vs truck. Mart’s was a truck.
