Where do I get the rubber pads for the transmission mount on a 41 Ford coupe?
Are they the same as the motor mounts???

  2. 37-41 use the same mounts as the engine.

As a side note, don't squish the rubber down by over tightening.
Just make them snug plus about a 1/2 turn more to eliminate all play.
Be sure to install the cotter pin, if there is one.

Yes. Don’t buy cheapo mounts. I bought some from Speedway once and they were crushed down within a couple years.

X2 on speedway mounts. I used Chassis Engineering on my last ones, much better material.

Here's a good rubber mount.. I like them because they have the metal band around the circumference of the rubber to help keep its shape. Plus, they use the correct bolt.
Search results: 3 results for "1940 ford engine mount" – Bob Drake
Here's a photo of the rubber motor mount biscuit (without the metal band) like it was originally made by Ford. I installed the chrome castle nut.
Same biscuit is on the transmission mount. I used the steering stop acorn lock nut. Car is 1940 Ford.
